Here at the largest full service doula agency in Indiana, clients know they are working with the best of the best. We have hand selected an elite group of doulas to join our team. All of our affiliated doulas are pre-screened and trained by qualified certifying organizations, which ensures continuity of care for clients and providers. We also run a background check on each of our affiliated doulas as added protection for our clients.
Each member of our agency is required to sign and adhere to a strict Code of Ethics which includes general rules of conduct, ethical responsibilities to both clients and colleagues, and a social media policy. The focus of this Code of Ethics is the creation and maintenance of a welcoming and inclusive space for all birthing people and parents, regardless of family structure, sexual orientation, gender, race, national origin, disability, or political/religious affiliation.
Indianapolis Doulas is committed to excellence and accountability. Our agency model offers clients great peace of mind, as any questions or concerns are immediately addressed by our owners.
Imagine the combined knowledge and experience of a team of trained and certified doulas.
That is some serious support.
We are always professional. We are always reliable. And we hold ourselves to the highest standards.
We work with families, because we believe each family has unique needs and our clients know what is best for their family. We might offer suggestions or research or anecdotal evidence, but at the end of the day, we trust our clients to make the decisions that are right for their families.
We work with doctors, because we don’t have a birth or parenting philosophy other than supporting our clients. We are professional and knowledgeable, but we also know that we are not medical providers. As non-clinical support people, we trust the education and experience of nurses, midwives, and doctors.
We work with each other, because sometimes, we want someone to talk to, or help answering questions, or need someone to cover a shift because our child is sick. We trust each other.
