The early days with a new baby–or babies–is an exciting time for the whole family. The birthing person is healing physically, hormones are fluctuating, and often emotions run high. The presence of a compassionate postpartum doula brings many families a lot of comfort. And while we absolutely help with the nuts and bolts of life with a newborn, the most important thing we offer our clients is understanding. All of us are trained in the emotional aspects of adjusting to life with a new baby, and having us by your side can be just the reassurrance you need.

Day or night, we are here for you.

Our postpartum doulas provide more than traditional night nannies. While their focus is solely on the newborn(s), our focus is on the entire family. We’re happy to swaddle, feed, and change your baby overnight, but we also offer the following:

    • Establishing healthy sleep habits. We are experts in normal newborn sleep, and will help get your baby–or babies–into a good routine that sets you up for long term success. We can help you with sleep training strategies that are right for your family as your baby gets older. (Learn more about sleep coaching services.)
    • Baby feeding plan. We will help you establish a feeding plan, whether that is breastfeeding, exclusive pumping, formula feeding, or a combination.
    • Routines & Schedules. We can help craft schedules and routines that support your sleep and feeding goals.
    • Appointments. We can accompany you to pediatrician appointments.
    • Tongue Tie/Frenectomy Support. If you suspect your baby might have a tongue tie, we can give you emotional support through the entire process.
    • Referrals. We have relationships with the very best professionals in Indiana, and can seamlessly connect you with them if your needs fall outside of our scope.
    • Sibling support. Your doulas will help siblings adjust to having a new baby around, and help you help your other kids!
    • Meal preparation. From sandwiches for lunch to crockpot dinners, we’ve got you covered.
    • Light housekeeping. We’ll take care of that baby laundry, make sure the dishwasher is unloaded, and tidy up your house.
How do I know how much help I need?

Most families do well with 500+ hours of care, and our tiered pricing system means your hourly rate is lower when you invest in our largest packages. At minimum, we recommend at least 100 hours.

Our popular Welcome Home Package is a great starter for first time parents and those looking for professional support immediately after leaving the hospital. It includes an on-call postpartum doula who will come to your home for 12 or 24 hours during your first day home with your new baby.

For parents needing additional support, we offer private, in-home counseling with a licensed social worker. Each visit is $125.00.

We are so proud to offer clients in Indianapolis, Carmel, Fishers, Noblesville, and Zionsville postpartum doulas who can help smooth out the transition that happens when a family grows.
