The day your baby was born, there was magic in the air.

You looked down at that little squishy face without a thought of what the days ahead might bring.

And then the sleepless nights started.

It is super normal for newborns to wake frequently, and persistently, at night. But time goes by and suddenly you have a four-month-old who won’t sleep or nap in any consistent pattern.

That’s when you need a sleep coach.

Sleep coaching is for families who are hoping to help their babies to fall asleep independently. This is a skill that takes time to learn, and with the help and encouragement of a sleep coach, you can get through this learning process with your baby.

Our overall approach is based on some key principles:

  1. All babies need sleep. The amount of sleep they need and how they go to sleep/stay asleep is based on their age and developmental capabilities.
  2. All babies have to learn how to go to sleep independently. Most of the time, parents need coaching so they can allow their babies to learn this skill.
  3. How a baby goes to sleep is how they expect to go back to sleep when they wake during the night. This is where breaking sleep associations and teaching independent sleep habits comes in.
